BRA/00/029 - Support to the Brazilian Electric Sector in Relation to the Global Climate Change - This project aims to enable the Brazilian electric sector to obtain scientific information related to its emission of greenhouse-effect-producing gases, in order to provide assistance to the definition of the Brazilian implementation policy in the field of climate changes.

BRA/00/008 - Flood-planes' Natural Resources (ProVarzea) - Support to the formulation of public policies aimed at the conservation and management of the flood-planes' natural resources of the central region of the Amazonian basin.

BRA/98/009 – Management of the Amazonian Rain Forest (Promanejo) -Promotion of public policies aimed at reducing the offer of natural products of predatory origin and at increasing the offer of products coming from areas where sustainable exploitation is practiced.

BRA/98/005 – Support to the monitoring and analysis of the Pilot Programme for the Protection of the Tropical Rainforests (PPG-7) - Development of a system of evaluation of the performance and results of the related Pilot Programme as a whole, in order to use the experience acquired for other programmes.

BRA/95/028 – Environmental Macro-Monitoring - Implementation of a system of environmental monitoring in order to provide inputs to the policy-makers which are necessary to the promotion of an adequate and efficient management of natural resources.

BRA/93/044 – Demonstrative Projects/A (PD/A) - Contribution to the conservation of the Amazon and Atlantic Forest regions and associated ecosystems supporting sustainable development, through the participation and integration of the contribution of local population.
